ICONS at Enlit Europe 2024

From October 22nd to October 24th, Milan will host Enlit Europe 2024, the constantly growing, inclusive, end-to-end forum that addresses every aspect of the energy agenda.

Enlit Europe represents a journey to connect industries, inspire action and help Europe evolve into one decarbonized and digitized energy system for the energy transition.

ICONS, in charge of communication for the BRIDGE ed ETIP-Snet Secretariats, will be present at Enlit Europe 2024 with a booth and two workshops in the EU project Zone Hub:

• Oct. 22 from 14 to 15.30 (Theatre 1, Hall 6)

“Sustainable transport integration into the grid”: BRIDGE and ETIP SNET experts will explore the benefits and challenges of integrating power and transport sectors with a deep dive into V2G and grid infrastructure for e-mobility.

• Oct. 23 from 14 to 15.30 (Theatre 2, Hall 6)

“Energy communities’ impact on grids”: experts will explore the emerging role of energy communities, highlighting opportunities and challenges they present for DSOs and, by extension, TSOs.

Among ICONS’ projects portfolio, DriVe2X, AIR4NRG, Dedalus, and Crete Valley will attend the event with dedicated sessions:

• DriVe2X: the project will be involved in the “Sustainable Transport Integration into the Grid” session on October 22, from BRIDGE and ETIP SNET
• AIR4NRG: explore innovative energy storage solutions at the EU project zone and attend María Laura Trifiletti’s session on Storage Technologies on 23 October, 10:15 AM.
• DEDALUS: the project will join the EU project zone. Moreover, on 24 October, from 9.30 AM to 1 PM, the DEDALUS coordinator Diego Arnone will be attending, as a panelist, the workshop “Unlocking the Power of Smart Energy: A New Era in Efficiency, Flexibility, and Innovation” co-organized with other  6 EU-funded projects within the Smart Energy Cluster.
• CRETE VALLEY:
  – on 23rd October, 9:45-10:45 in the “Regaining the Public’s Trust in the Energy Transition” session, Inspire Stage – Hall 6. European citizens appear to have fallen out of love with the energy transition, not least because of stubbornly high energy prices. What can we do to regain that all-important trust?
  – on 23rd October, 14:00-15:30 in the “Energy communities’ impact on grids” session, in the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 2, Hub Sessions. BRIDGE and ETIP SNET experts will explore the emerging role of energy communities, highlighting opportunities and challenges they present for DSOs and, by extension, TSOs.
  – on 24th October, 10:00-11:30, at the EU Projects Zone Hub – Theatre 1 (Hall 6) during the speech called “A future based on RES”. In this session, we follow examples of how new technologies and sources can shape renewable energy and its integration shortly
